Beijing Banning Blacks From Bars?
No, it's not a tongue twister, it's damn near the truth...
Beijing authorities are secretly planning to ban black people and others it considers social undesirables from entering the city's bars during the Olympic Games, a move that would contradict the official slogan, "One World, One Dream".
Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises....
Security officials are targeting Sanlitun, which Olympic organisers expect to be a key destination for foreign tourists looking for a party during the Games.
The pledges that Sanlitun bar owners had been instructed to sign agreed to stop a variety of activities in their establishments, including dancing and serving customers with black skin, they said.

Movie Review: The Dark Knight
You've heard the hype. Y ou're curious about the Joker. Was it worth it?
HELL YES!
A Shakespearean tale of good versus evil, inner-being vs. moral-being, and throw in a Grecian tragedy and bam, you have yourself a no-longer Art-Deco, hello-Hong Kong Dark Knight. From the beginning with the Joker's initial entrance to the "pencil scene" surrounded by Jersey-esque mob bosses, Ledger quickly defines this Joker as anything but, a stark contrast to Nicholson's Burton jester. Bale was almost secondary to the plot of the movie, an excellent look into the human psyche. The movie eludes that both sides win at the end; the Joker winning the battle of anybody can be pushed to an immoral edge (re: the ferry scene) and Batman showing that humans can overcome an immoral edge, even through past life (re: again, the ferry scene).
Nolan brilliantly infuses live action (the truck scene, wowzers!), great acting (except for Gordon's son...who I had wish Two-Face would've killed), and an exceptional storyline (re: Dawes' death...could you imagine if MARY JANE would've died in Spider Man?). This is certainly the best acted Batman in all the series and surpases Burton's original Batman on a human scale (which is what Batman really is about; an ordinary, fucked-up human fighting crime).
I highly recommend this movie.
